How often do you use manual control on your Nikon dSLR popup flash?
Jul 2nd
You may find some professional or semi-professionals Nikon shooters who use this feature but few amateurs well. When I shot Nikon, I rarely used the pop-up flash for anything other than fill flash if the light was behind my subject. In those cases, as I do with Canon now, I left the flash in TTL mode. When I really need a flash, I carry an shoe-mount flash though I may use a sync cable or wireless commander to get that flash off the camera. I use the EV flash compensation and I do not use manual control to dial it More >

Flash Player is one of the most frustrating experiences for Web browsing. It seems to need updating 3 or 4 times a year to keep it working, that is, if it ever works. Like most things today it can cost as much to fix as it is worth new. If you really need a flash you could just pick up an SB400 shoe mount flash. Cost is about $115. It is more powerful than the pop up flash and will recycle faster as well. An even better choice would be an SB600. It will give you the ability to tilt and swivel the flash. Cost $220 I would More >
What method or program should I use to flash my Xbox360 BenQ drive?
Jul 2nd
I recently used jungleflasher for the first time and it really is the easiest way. However make sure your Vista is 32bit. Jungleflasher is not compatible with 64bit. If yours is, you have no choice but to either install a 32bit windows, or use a dos method. Also make sure you install PortIO 32. It’s a weird install…I linked a guide for it for you. Doesn’t have Vista but you should be able to translate the XP steps to Vista. If your Benq has never been modded, the great thing about Jungleflasher is the “Benq unlock” button. Basically saves you More >
