You are probably shooting with the widest lens setting. Try shooting with a slightly more magnified vew setting. That makes group shots tough if you can’t back up a bit, but it’s either that or a lot of time with Photoshop.Mac Mod Converter is the easiest to use mod video converter on Mac OS.
Try experimenting with a few test shots in a humid setting with the flash. It only costs a few electrons and you might end up with better pictures when it counts.

There’s just one thing to do-
Try placing light source near your subject and then click photos without using camera flash.
You can also try long exposures but make sure that your flash doesn’t work.
Though your eyes see the subject (distant) that you want to click, the flash when fired, illuminates the nearest objects the brightest. In your situation, these are the water droplets or mist and being near they appear big too.
I use a Nikon P80, and whenever I take pictures in humid conditions using the flash the photographs appear to have moisture droplets.
You can get an account like gmail or yahoo and use applications that can store files in your email space for you. There are lots of services that you can pay a few dollars for, and save many of your files.
